The Victorian SB’s of the MBMMC is hosting MBMMC RU21 which will be held in Ballarat from Friday the 5 Nov to Sunday the 7 Nov 2021 Friday night meet and greet reception (canapes and complimentary drink provided), Saturday morning, pre-conference coffee and tea provided as well as morning tea (coffee, tea and light snack), Club picture, Saturday 1300 to 1800 local guided ride. Saturday PM Club dinner (buffet dinner), Sunday morning State and SB photos farewells etc.
The Mercure Inn is a well serviced motel and convention centre located 5 minutes from the CBD of Ballarat. It has all the comforts of home and fulfills all our requirements for RU21. Larter Street, at the rear connects the Mercure with to the Best Western Motel and the BIG 4 Caravan Gold Fields Holiday Park.
It is a short walk from local attractions such as Sovereign Hill, the Ballarat Gold Museum, Ballarat sanctuary day spa (for the RAAF) and many more attractions you can all find on google.
The Mercure Inn is the main venue and has plenty of varied types of accommodation. The other venues close at hand are the Best Western Motel and BIG4 Goldfields Holiday park. Their information etc is in the three attachments

Members are responsible for booking their own accommodation.

Accommodation can be booked now and a deposit will be required. If you have any concerns regarding refunds and deadlines for same etc, again discuss with venue as the RU21 committee and the MBMMC will not be responsible for any of these such issues.

We are aware the cost of roundup is significantly more than in previous years and therefore we are spreading out the payments.

VIC WEST Sub Branch will require a deposit of $20 pp by 30 April 2021 and the balance, including T-Shirts and stubby coolers is required by 31 August 2021.

The management of these payments, and attendance spread sheets is the responsibility of individual SB’s and SP’s. The Treasurer of VIC West will be the POC for all payments.

All payments are to be made firstly to the relevant SB treasurers. The treasurers are to then contact VIC West treasurer and organise EFT to VIC West Account.

A Team App page has been created with all RU21 committee, National Exec and State Presidents (SP) have access.

The RU21 committee will update info as it comes to hand. The updating of info to the wider club is the responsibility of the relevant SP and any enquiries are to be sent to them.

The access will not be amended to include SB personnel.

The Mercure inn has hosted many events such as ours with the latest being the state Ulysses AGM.

Their staff is fully committed to supporting this event and will do everything within their power to ensure the success of this event.
